Choose and install HACS

HACS is Home Assistant’s community store. Before installing seenzus MQTT Bridge, make sure HACS appears in the Home Assistant sidebar.

Before you start

From a device on the same network, open:

http://homeassistant.local:8123

If it works, you do not need the HA IP. Only find the HA IP if it does not open.

Choose the right version

HACS Turbo Donggua HAOS on a mainland China network; no GitHub authorization › HACS Official Official HAOS, Container, Supervised, or networks with GitHub access ›

• If the address below opens the Donggua HAOS Companion, you can use HACS Turbo:

  http://homeassistant.local:8124

  Only retry with the HA IP if the default address fails.

• If port 8124 does not open, or you run official HAOS, Container, or Supervised, use HACS Official.

Official HACS keeps failing to register

Restart Home Assistant once and confirm that the network can reach GitHub. After three consecutive failures, stop repeating the same step: Donggua HAOS users can switch to HACS Turbo; other installations must restore GitHub connectivity before continuing with HACS Official.

From HACS to the Bridge

1. 01 Choose a version Official or Turbo
2. 02 See HACS HACS appears in the sidebar
3. 03 Install the Bridge Continue instead of stopping in the store

When HACS appears in the sidebar, this step is complete. Use it next to install seenzus MQTT Bridge.
