HACS Turbo Installation Guide (Recommended for mainland China)
HACS (Home Assistant Community Store) is a third-party integration manager. HACS Turbo is designed for users in mainland China: simple to add, no GitHub registration / authorization required, installed in one click via the Donggua HAOS toolbox. Users overseas / outside mainland China should use the HACS (official) installation guide instead.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”Before you start, make sure:
-
Your Home Assistant is up and running, and you can access its dashboard.
-
You are running Donggua HAOS (which includes the built-in “Donggua HAOS Companion” management tool).
-
The default address opens from the device you are using:
http://homeassistant.local:8123If it does not, find the HA IP as a fallback.
| Name | OS | Core | HACS (official) | HACS Turbo |

Installation Steps
Section titled “Installation Steps”Follow one video to install and enable HACS
Section titled “Follow one video to install and enable HACS”Done when: HACS appears in the Home Assistant sidebar.
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| ”Failed to get a shared GitHub token, please retry” | The shared accounts are exhausted (too many users) — wait half a day or try again the next day; if it’s urgent, switch to the official version. |
| Can’t find HACS in search | Donggua HAOS usually ships with HACS built in; if it doesn’t show up, try clearing the browser cache or hard-refreshing (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R), or restart Home Assistant once and search again. |
| Nothing happens after install/repair | Wait for Core to finish restarting automatically (about 1–2 minutes) before adding the integration. |
| Downloads are slow or failing | Usually a network issue — retry later or configure network acceleration. |
When HACS appears in the sidebar, do not stop in the store. Continue to install seenzus MQTT Bridge with HACS.
Source of truth · verified against HACS Turbo 2.0.5.x · captured 2026-07 These docs are the single source of truth for install / branch content (docs-first): when the upstream (HACS / Donggua toolbox) UI changes, update the docs first; when the bridge plugin’s config-flow / quick-pair UI changes, update the docs first, then align the app’s four in-app frames — both stamps bumped together.
