Sony TV Setup Guide

Sony TVs can be connected through Home Assistant’s Sony integration, enabling power on/off, status monitoring, and other controls from Home Assistant. This guide shows how to add the Sony integration and complete the setup using the TV’s IP address.

Before getting started, confirm the following, and refer to the version information table below:

  • Your Home Assistant is up and running, and you can access its dashboard.
  • Your Sony TV is powered on and on the same local network as Home Assistant.
  • You have found the Sony TV’s IP address (check the TV’s network settings or your router’s admin page).
