Quick Pair the Bridge
This page starts after the Bridge has been downloaded and Home Assistant has restarted. When finished, the matching Home Assistant Source in seenzus will show Connected.
1. Start from the seenzus app
Section titled “1. Start from the seenzus app”Return to seenzus and open Integrations → Add Source → Pair. This is the recommended entry: the app opens the correct Home Assistant flow, so you do not need to edit a long URL.

2. Choose Quick Pair in Home Assistant
Section titled “2. Choose Quick Pair in Home Assistant”When Home Assistant opens, choose Quick Pair (recommended) and continue. If the browser asks you to sign in, sign in to this Home Assistant, then start again from seenzus.
There is no MQTT Broker, port, username, or password to enter.

3. Sign in to seenzus and authorize
Section titled “3. Sign in to seenzus and authorize”Home Assistant opens the seenzus authorization page. Sign in, confirm that this is the Home Assistant Bridge you just started, and approve it.
The pairing session lasts only a few minutes. If it expires, return to seenzus and start again.

4. Return to the matching Source
Section titled “4. Return to the matching Source”After authorization, the browser returns to Home Assistant and creates the integration. No additional restart is required. Use Return to seenzus app on the success page or in the notification center, then open the Source you just created under Integrations.
Ingestion is complete when both are true:
- the Source shows Connected;
- discovered devices or sync progress begins to appear.

The app entry does not open
Section titled “The app entry does not open”First sign in at:
http://homeassistant.local:8123Then open this local fallback URL:
http://homeassistant.local:8123/_my_redirect/config_flow_start?domain=seenzus_bridgeIt opens the same Bridge configuration flow. Choose Quick Pair (recommended), then return to seenzus and check the matching Source. Only find the HA IP and replace homeassistant.local when the default address fails.
Common problems
Section titled “Common problems”“This integration does not support configuration via the user interface”
Section titled ““This integration does not support configuration via the user interface””The Bridge did not load correctly in this Home Assistant. Return to Install the Bridge, confirm that the download finished and that you used Restart Home Assistant, then start pairing again.
Authorization succeeded but Home Assistant did not reopen
Section titled “Authorization succeeded but Home Assistant did not reopen”Open and sign in again at:
http://homeassistant.local:8123Then restart pairing from seenzus. Only use the HA IP when the default address fails; avoid a public address that cannot redirect back to this local Home Assistant.
The Source is connected but has no devices
Section titled “The Source is connected but has no devices”The Bridge only syncs devices already available in Home Assistant. Confirm that the device has real state in Home Assistant, then follow sync troubleshooting.
I need to enter my own MQTT Broker
Section titled “I need to enter my own MQTT Broker”Quick Pair requires no MQTT settings. Use manual configuration only for a self-hosted Broker or debugging.
