Troubleshooting

Find the symptom you see and work through only that section. Stop once the problem is resolved.

Locate the failing part first
  1. Device Is it healthy in the brand platform?
  2. Home Assistant Can it see the device and new state?
  3. Bridge and Source Are they online and syncing?
  4. seenzus Does it appear, update, and respond?

Open Integrations in seenzus, find the relevant Home Assistant Source, and confirm:

  • the Source is online;
  • the discovered-device count is what you expect;
  • device organization has finished;
  • sync updates are still arriving.

Fix the connection first if the Source is offline. If it is online but a device is still wrong, continue with the matching symptom below.

  1. Confirm the device exists and works in Home Assistant.
  2. Open Integrations in seenzus and confirm the Home Assistant Source is online.
  3. Wait briefly for the device catalog to sync.
  4. If it is still missing, reload the device’s integration in Home Assistant.

If the device is not in Home Assistant yet, connect it by brand or type.

  1. Confirm the Home Assistant host and home network are working.
  2. In Home Assistant, confirm seenzus MQTT Bridge is running.
  3. Give the Bridge time to reconnect automatically.
  4. If it stays offline, restart Home Assistant and check again.

If the Source is online but one device is stale:

  1. Check whether that device updates in Home Assistant.
  2. Reload its Home Assistant integration only if Home Assistant is also stale.
  3. If Home Assistant is current but seenzus is not, record the device name and time, then contact support.
  • Authorization page will not open: confirm Home Assistant has internet access and start again.

  • Session expired: return to Home Assistant and choose Quick Pair again.

  • Authorization does not complete: open the address below and retry; use the HA IP only if the default address fails:

    http://homeassistant.local:8123
  • UI configuration is unsupported: restart Home Assistant and confirm the Bridge is installed correctly.

See Quick Pair troubleshooting for more detail.

  1. Confirm the device is online and not read-only.
  2. Control it once in Home Assistant to rule out a device-side problem.
  3. Try again in seenzus and complete the confirmation card.
  4. Check Recent activity for a recorded failure reason.
