Scheduled tasks

Scheduled tasks handle work that should happen later or repeat: reports, reminders, recurring checks, and device wind-downs.

Scheduled task lifecycle
  1. Describe the work Make the intended result clear
  2. Set the schedule Run once or repeat
  3. Run on time Follow permissions, rules, and safety limits
  4. Review the result Check Home and run history

Ask in Chat — for example, “Remind me to check the doors every night at 10” — or open Scheduled tasks → New task and enter the work and schedule.

The list shows frequency, next run, and the latest result. Pause or resume recurring tasks, open details, run a task now, or remove it. Completed one-time tasks move into their own section.

Results return to Home and remain in run history. If a task depends on devices, also check Source status when it does not produce the expected result.
